For those of you familiar with my Examiner crime column, you already know my thoughts regarding the return of viable businesses, or the lack thereof, as well as with my increasing concern about the citizens of New Orleans - and our state as a whole. Evidently, LSU agrees with just those types of concerns . . .

BATON ROUGE, LA (AP) - Originally businesses contemplating returning to New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina cited worries about flood protection and infrastructure as factors in decisions to again set up shop in the city.
